Leading Supplier of Springs and Stampings Continues To Support The Next Generation Of Engineers

Today MSP headed down to the EEC fair at Coventry University as part of our mission to create the engineers of tomorrow to support UK manufacturing.

Coventry University EEC fair is widely considered to be one of the leading graduate engineering fairs in the country, located in the University’s innovative EEC building boasting leading facilities.

Here at MSP, we understand the importance of investing in the next generation of engineers and will continue to support events like this as part of our mission to create the engineers of tomorrow to support UK manufacturing.

Our team thoroughly enjoyed speaking to young innovative engineers with fresh ideas and perspectives as well as sharing our springs and stampings expertise as a leading supplier within the industry.

We also relished the opportunity to discuss the vital role our engineered solutions play in a range of applications across a vast array of sectors and enjoyed sharing over half a century of engineering expertise with the graduates in attendance.

Another key theme of discussion throughout the day was sustainability. We were proud to publicly display our Bronze Carbon Literate certification for the first time since becoming an accredited Carbon Literate Organisation. The opportunity to discuss sustainability within the engineering and manufacturing sector was one we enjoyed, and we took great pride in passing on our industry leading knowledge onto the next generation.

Our engineering themed competition also proved popular as we challenged the students to guess how many springs were in our bottle for the chance to win a £20 Amazon gift card. There were some great guesses, and we are looking forward to contacting the winner in due course.

At MSP, we are incredibly passionate about building the next generation of engineers. Whether it’s through our Primary Engineer Programme which sees us work with young children to develop STEM skills, our apprenticeship programme where we provide hands on training to build and develop young engineers, or events like this where we offer exciting opportunities to leading graduate prospects, we will continue to support the next generation and will remain at the forefront of the development of young engineers.

We would like to thank Coventry University for hosting such a fantastic event and we are looking forward to inviting some of the graduates up to our head office soon!
